In Germany the majority of the important thinkers of the country wrote in German. Leibniz, Kant, Nietzche, Wolff, etc. Every Kraut student can read his own nation philosophy classics at his own language.

In France a large part of the most important thinkers of the country wrote in French. Descartes, Bodin, Montesquieu, Montaigne, Diderot, etc. Every Frogoid student can read his own nation philosophy classics at his own language.

In England the majority of important thinkers of the country wrote in English. Hume, Locke, Adam Smith, Bacon, Hobbes, etc. Every English student can read his own nation philosophy classics at his own language.

In Italy a large part of the most important thinkers of the country wrote in Italian. Campanella, Vico, Machiavelli, Paolo Sarpi, etc. Every Italian student can read their own nation philosophy classics at his own language.

In Spain the Jesuits, the Dominicans and the courtiers of Habsbourg's court and period decided they would prefer to keep writing in Latin as in Middle-Ages.

So in Castilian and Aragonese there are a lot of novels, comedies, works of mysticism, etc., of the period, but the works centered around metaphysics, logic, theology, epystemology, politics, etc., from the Scholastics of the time, are all written in Latin.
