>>2517226from what ive seen, probably. in both countries the working class tends to be the most outspokenly conservative, the middle class is generally very liberal and ZOGged (moreso the urban middle class than the rural middle class) and the upper class is just the urban middle class on steroids and with an even bigger superiority complex. right wing irish protests are more likely to escalate into something more meaningful (and violent) than british protests, if that counts for anything. i think the UK has a better established right wing movement (reform, among others) than ireland does but their government has been raping them with migrants, authoritarian laws and liberal legislation for the past 40 years so i fail to see things getting any better for them
