It's a story for two weeks ago, but this guys made the dumbest plan in recent history and sticked to it (poorly) for 1 year without giving up. How is that even possible?

Really, how someone could think they could even try to dominate an island with 87k people? After crossing the sea with random guys they recruited without the autorities noticing?

The fight is impossible to win, the place is almost impossible to get with the vessels they could have acess to, the more people they recruited, the harder the logistics would be, they must remain undercover, they would need big amounts of supplies…the more you think of it, the worse it gets. But somehow, they tried to execute the plan for a whole YEAR.
