If you aren't a naturally good emotional manipulator then you're just wasting your time reading 48 laws of power. The other ones are good doe
β2452068[Quote]
These are the books for insecure people who need "power" in their life

48 laws of being jewish is just the kike ripoff version of The Prince.
β2452123[Quote]
>The 48 Laws of Power
The book that turns weird spergs into obnoxious spergs geg. It's a rip off of the Prince but worse. The only thing it's useful for is spotting manipulators who try to use these tactics on you so you can deflect their attempts and tell them to go fuck themselves.
>The Art of War
My theory is that Sun Tzu wrote it for young noblemen who had no idea how to wage a war so he had literally to walk them through baby steps. Many of the chapters are just straight up about actual war tactics and do not translate to real life, and regardless of that almost all of them are kind of… obivous? Like "deceive your enemies" or "never show your true strength" or "try to accomplish your goals without direct confrontation because it's too costly" ohmagaaaaaad I didnd't know that THANK YOU FOR YOUR WISDOM SUN TZU!
>The Prince
Again, most of the advice is for actual rulers, not high schoolers or office workers.
β2452154[Quote]
Anyway, I guess you can read the Art of War because it's very short and maybe you'll pick something up.
You can also read the Prince but only in your free time if you're interested, I don't think the advice you'll get from it will help you significantly. Like if you were a manipulative sociopath you'd already be using people and walking over them and if you are not a socipath then you're not gonna suddenly turn into one after reading the book. It takes skill and natural talent to deceive and manipulate people.
β2452169[Quote]
>>2452060 (OP)The art of war is pretty based actually, there's so many cool quotes it's just fun to read
The 48 laws of power is something everyone everywhere should read, either for defense or offense in social settings

robert greene's laws of power is a stupid book for people who wanna unironically use the dark triad o algo the author himself is a filthy jew i read this book and its so retarded to a point where the first couple of laws contradict the latter made laws

Yes and no.
Read 48 laws with the context thats its written by a psycho, and if any normal person, who knows about it, finds out that you use those laws, they'll hate you.
Art of war is interesting, its the basics of tactics and strategy, not all of it.
And the prince was apparently written to mock the prince. Its 10x more psycho than the 48 laws of power.
β2452390[Quote]
>>2452060 (OP)The prince is useless if you don't know anything about medieval politics, and it's a shitty read overall. Change my mind
β2452398[Quote]
>>2452390You dont need to know medieval politics to understand it. Because modern politics at the same height of princes, kings, and presidents has not changed AT ALL.

>>2452060 (OP)only the prince and art of war
48 laws was written by a jew (pbuh!) who gets cuckolded and wrote it as a cope to feel like a genius light imagay massa manipulator
I havent read the prince but I've heard its good.
Art of war is interesting if you like military history, its essentially a series of anecdotes about the civil war after the spring and autumn period in china, where a commander manages to turn a disadvantageous situation around. It also gives more general advice, but the stories are the best part.

β2452444[Quote]
>>2452430Never underestimate the desperate. If someone feels so down in life they take this book seriously, they will eventually stab you in the back.
The 48 laws is better said to be the thoughts of a sociopath thinking they are smart. And if you are aware of a sociopath, you can out maneuver them, but this doesnt mean you befriend them.
β2452454[Quote]
>>2452427good take. everybody reading these books and thinking they slurp some wisdom and are cesare borgia now are retarded.
β2452476[Quote]
>>2452444no real sociopath needs a book on that obvious so called laws human interactions are way to complex if you talk from person to person things like body language the used words your tone of voice are all having a massive impact on conversations no one can use some stupid laws that only work in theory when you are ugly for example or stutter and avoid eye contact
β2452491[Quote]
>>2452476Tsmt. Actual psychopaths with CEO mindsets already know all that shit from experience and observation, and if you don't know that naturally then the game is not for you. And also there are so many small factors that play a role during social interactions which you cannot learn from a book because it would be like 2 thousand pages long, you just learn that shit subsconsciosly and continue applying it as a habit.
β2452508[Quote]
>>2452476Fair, but consider the reddit reply. Redditors read this and say 'I could be evil, but im so good because im nice'. This retardation easily flops on a dime. Then also consider the amount of people with autism skyrocketing. If a tism reads this without sufficient doubt, theyll go crazy. Think of the how easily it is to psyop a kid into trooning.
I mean mostly that this book and others like it, should be taken seriously in that it will be taken seriously by others. When you go hunting for a deer, you can't use the same tactics to go hunt for a bear. This book is a jew mind weapon on the goy.
β2452534[Quote]
>>2452491One example that instantly comes to mind is the 'firm handshake'. The idea is something that comes naturally to any normal person: when you shake another man's hand you have to apply some pressure because that's how a handshake is supposed to be - two hands firmly gripping each other. I've shaken hands with people who give zero resistence and it feels just weird and gross like nigga wtf are you doing get the fuck out of here. But then someone told spergs about how handshakes are supposed to be firm, and now there is a dangerous amount of autists who squeeze every hand they shake as hard as they can to the point it hurts the other guy. You can't write down in a book exactly how hard you should squeeze when you're shaking someone's hand, you just lear it from shaking hands. And the same applies to all rules of social interaction and/or manipulation.
β2452661[Quote]
>>2452534yeah agree another classic is someone who overthinks his posture and tries to correct it and therefore looks really stiff and doesnt know what to do with his hands you just realize this shit instantly when you are only a little bit aware of your surroundings. same goes for people who think they can read bodylanguage after watching a yt video and everytime someone touches their nose they conclude they are lying…. cause they got told that small children hide their face when they lie and stuff like that
