I agree with his position on a lot of issues; as a post-Trump conservative option he shows a lot of promise. There's clips of him saying stuff like this, sure, but (at risk of being called a friggin pee dough) he very clearly seems to be joking, to me at least. If you listen to the tone and diction ("based," "we're so back," etc.) it's not a serious tone. Nobody would go onto a live stream and say "Let's lower the age of consent because that'd be based" and expect themselves to keep a consistent platform and audience across multiple sites.
Fuentes has managed to keep a cult following across websites that he himself has been banned from, and I think that speaks to his appeal and potential as an orator. I hope he can take himself and his goals more seriously because that's basically the only thing holding him back from taking action on what he believes in. But for right now, there is no IRL movement to go along with his digital influence, and these clips that float around certainly aren't helping.
