If the internet has spoiled them for me instead it was a blessing to learn much from documentaries, history, science, and construction, as well as self improvement. Proving that few men seek to be better to begin with. Their parents need to force them into mil, but their parents never humbled themselves and shared their hardships, successes, and losses with these kids either, causing them to fumble around in the dark. Mentorship is all upon the school with is merely glorified babysitting which drains people of will and mental energy when they are forced to study things that they have no passion for.
I hated English classes but that was because of the worthless subjects there that we had do perform and read complete trash fiction. I would have been much better at writing book reports on history for English class but that was never allowed at the time.
This then shows my issue with broad curriculum instead of letting people pick and choose their own genre within subjects to study. This freedom only exists in some college classes after k-12 though, but self education at own pace online is the best and most free.
But few people care to learn after school because of pride it seems, they already got their paper that says they passed.
