I used to know this basic progressive bitch who was very adamant that the CIA killed JFK, and would treat anyone as a schizo nutjob if they didnt except that as a proven and unanimously agreed upon fact. From what ive seen thats not an uncommon belief for younger anti-establishment/socialist/social justice types hold, and seems to be one of the only legacy "conspiracies" they dont trust the experts on. As for Mk-ultra and Charlie, each neatly falls into "true crime" 'government bad', both of which they love consooming- The JFK murder falling within both categories is also probably why so many have an interest in it.
