>>126721imma prolly preface this by saying you need a pretty good PC to run the game, if you're fine with Medium/1080p/60FPS something like an RTX 3060 should be fine
it has a lot in common with the OT, especially now that they've upgraded A-Life system in 1.7 update. The atmosphere and "feel" are very much still there.
Bloodsuckers are a pretty common enemy now, sometimes they jump you in packs of 3-4 (not common in my experience) and they're somewhat tedious to fight. But a decent shotgun should deal with them quickly. Some people say that the recent updates have a bug where they can spawn in huge swarms, I haven't played it for myself yet so I can't personally say whether this is true
Weapon balancing is also a bit jank, some of the guns you can get early-game (like the AR416) become nearly useless late game for how many headshots you need to kill something, which forces you to use one of two late-game assault rifles. Better Ballistics mod should fix this. The weapon attachment system is also weird with the restrictions, OXA Standard should pretty much remove this issue.
If you can get past all that, the overall game is still very good, I bought the $80 version and I feel it was worth the money back during launch times, with the updates I'd still recommend the game. There are/should be mods that fix the minor stuff like weapon balancing and enemy spawnrates, you could also wait for patches if they're that much of a sticking point.
