More recent doom fare is dusty bethesda soy slop but not in a particularly troonish or woke way, there just isn't any scope of vision to humanise the demons or do a heckin' humans are the bad guys trope that "media literate" trannies obsess over with NuDoom. Also the community of NuDoom has been hit hard with the "based reddit" mythos where you can say based things with soy media and that makes it based, so trannies are heckin' uncomfy having to share a game with heckin' chuddies who aren't chuds at all because they fold on race or religion or any real issue but can at least call troons demonic. Oldschool doom has an off-ramp in games like Ultrakill to make trannies feel like they have any idea what it's like to be in those communities already.

I should also add that the other route of "demons are le heckin' nazis" never works when "lilith" on twitter wants to rant about how demons are a metaphor for being heckin' valid and gay or whatever and Wolfen(((stein))) already caters to that shit, in the same genre and from the same company.

Hitman is still fine, expecially because there's no much room about moralfaggotry for a bald bastard killing people.

Btw, anything non-lore or focused on "make your own adventure" helps with insulation, which made me move toward stuff like sandbox titles (factorio, rimworld… and even barotrauma with ugly ass nigger women characters are bearable enough).

I agree twith john carmACK that video game lore shouldn't be one of the top prioritys on game dev, but if the story done well it can make the game 2× better, it dosen't even have to be something mind blowing, just a simple explanation is fine, Left 4 Dead is a good example
