Literally who poo only 3 people know about (2 from this thread). However in order to not be a closed minded SLF prejudiced bigot that shits on everything, I listened to the following top results Amon Düül II - Between The Eyes (1970) and the full album Amon Düül II - Phallus Dei 1969.
I didnt like how chaotic the first one was, to quote my Grandpa describing jazz music "Its just a bunch of niggers doing their own thing without any bigger idea but sometimes it works." That being said, this one didn't. I can picture it being used in some stream of conciousness visual vomit like Mad God (2022) though, its not horrible but I wouldn't listen to it again.
Phallus Dei on the other hand was pretty good, its still lolrandom but enjoyable at times (except for that moment at the beginning when stereo panned completely to the left). I don't have too much to say about it, its psycho instrumental with some interesting noises interweaved in and complementary vocals.

I think the best conclusion is that its not my type of music. And God forbid if they did one of these szechuan sauce epic Jefre Cantu-Ledesma long ear piercing noises while I was driving I would not only kill myself but potentially someone else as well.

I love Phallus Dei but although I cannot condone your use of the n word I do understand your overall thinking and it definetely is very stream of conciousness I would agree with that. Some brilliant instrumentals but a couple goofy moments too. I didnt read the rest of your little reviews yet but although I love Phallus Dei I can definetely understand where you're coming from on that.

Did you mean "Between the eyes" and say phallus dei again or is this a joke? Either way I havent actually listened to that song by them in ages. I mean I've heard it before but its been months maybe years lol. What do you think of "Im Krater die balume" from them? It's maybe my favorite thing they did. A 3 minute or so long insturmental track.

Phallus Dei is the name of the album, there werent any timestamps or anything so I just commented on the entire thing. Im Krater die balume is very calm and groovy I like it! No wonder its your favorite.

Fair enough. I cannot begrudge you this take. I love Phallus Dei but it certainly does have awkward moments. You can tell it was their first album without Wikipedia at times.

Hey I'm glad you liked Im Krater die blaume at least. That's good. I do see your critique of Phallus dei. There are some very cheesy dated moments on there although overall I think it still more or less holds up. One of my favorite albums of all time so hard for me to view objectively but yk.
