Gayday 3 should be the main example why there won't be a Team Fortress 3, look what happened to its Steam community market when shit hit the fan almost every piece of polygon got sold for peanuts.

OP here. I'm so frustrated with what they did with Payday 3. They truly fucked it up, I mean they sometimes make good decisions just to fuck it up with bad ones. It makes me so sad that such a cool concept and such legendary characters have been used in a game that only existed to die. I can't deal with the fact that my idols are in a dead game. Someone really needs to revive Payday. Make it glorious, make it epic. The Payday Gang deserves so much better than this. I mean imagine if they had their own movie and TV show with actually captivating storytelling? They could be THE most legendary squad of heisters there ever was. I will never abandon you or your sweet fantasy of what could be, Payday.

Payday's aesthetic is art. It's execution is the problem. It's the encapsulation of living pure anarchy in a civilized world. You are the myth, you are the legend. It's message is beautiful. You are free, you don't live in the confines of the law or society's dictated rules. You can do whatever the fuck you want and nobody else matters except whoever is on your side. It would be really cool if you can use all the power you accumulated in the game (money and status) to take over the govt and make the country a much better place, or you can fuck it up, because the choice is yours. I'd much rather live in a timeline where the Payday gang are the good guys because it makes everything they did, every crime they committed have a purpose and a justification. What's a better justification for mowing down hundreds of cops than getting rid of a deeply corrupt system and cleaning it from the inside out? Modern day robin hood type shit but with guns and more violence, and dope fucking masks. What's a better aesthetic than that?
