Aha, someone once told me that it's a Spanish tradition to go on Erasmus. I probably heard about ~6 people who went on this program among my friends, friends of friends or kids of my mother's colleagues.
Althought I lived 3 months in a wing of a dormitory where there were only 4 full Poles beside me and others were thirdworlders (from Ethiopia, Nigeria, Tunisia) or these from the post-USSR countries (Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Russia) or some Turks.

yeah a lot of people go on Erasmus here (I didnt doe). Its kind of a waste of UE money tbh, most people use it to easily pass hard subjects and only interact with other Spanish people, the European sentiment and international collaboration bullshit is basically nonexistent, they are being paid a year of vacations. If anything my friends became more racist or realized university in a lot of places is kind of a joke. Most Erasmus here fail everything while my friends passed without any problem and even got the best marks of their class. It made have more faith in my education even if its "old fashioned"

Trve. We only left USRR's sphere of influence 37 years ago and some people here dream of making the Europe the next United States because their clitty leak at some graph bars they see on reddit or twitter.
I didn't go to this program because I was too dumb to fill out the correct papers and the courses on a different university would be much different and I'd have to adapt.
