Best is making it as enjoyable as possible. Find the best exercises, see how you can make your routine the most rewarding, maybe some pavlovian conditioning. Me for example I really enjoy the feeling of being completely broken after a heavy and thorough workout, when you just feel like a mushy pile of euphoria and that really gets me motivated to give my all.
