I used to eat it when I lifted hard, which would compromise my immune system and I stopped getting sick. Afterwards eat some yogurt and take a probiotic supplement to restore good bacteria in your gut. Add in a decent multivitamin to make sure you don't have any deficiencies. Also, as another anon said, make sure you don't actually have allergies. These can develop spontaneously.
