What happened to minecraft after a decade?

I'm turbo unc straight out of 2012 and i still stil think the last good minecraft was 1.2.5 version. Everything that comes later is laggy thanks to muh LAN implementation and tbh over the years i stopped even caring for updates since it got far too bloated and all the cool guys on youtube i used to watch are now done with their channels.

So i'm passing by and was wondering how much i missed, how much bloat, community degradation (normalfag influx), if shit like custom maps still exist, about the mods etc. etc.
i still have the original minecraftSP launcher, i won't use it because it won't work and i'm afraid of destroying that old gemerald

yeah most of the stuff added is bloat.
guns (sc3 specific): op, rape armour, annoying to get, difficult to use.
quality of life changes: /spawn, /tpa, /back, death chests, /home. I feel /home undermines exploration, but they are useful.
hacks: most of the top players here hack, and not on a level I don't believe comparable to 2012. PvP will never be fair on this server.
drugs: useful, pretty fun, but also make PvP unfair
Minecraft:
netherite: stupid, looks worse than diamond, barely better
maces: OP, difficult to get, add another goal
elytras: difficult to get, useful, rare.
copper: snca, useless and stupid, except for golems.

heroinblrlan had crashed my game while spawn camping me; I did not declare war nor fight back with him. He also is mass griefing spawns with withers and killing nusois repeatedly. He has been doing this for a while. The server is not fun when a single individual is going on a power trip.

Rule broken:
2: heroinblrlan has been using hacked clients to give himself unfair advantages in fights (as well as mass raids).

2.1: heroinblrlan has been using flyhacking for mass griefing and camping.

3: heroinblrlan has been mass griefing for quite a while now at nusoi spawn-3.

3.2: I do not think heroinblrlan had any prior justification for griefing my base; I cannot speak for others, however.

What's even the point of coming onto this server anymore?
I loved playing on here because of the relatively vanilla experience enhanced by the quality of life plugins (like deathchests and sethomes) and fun stuff like mapart
The guns just made the server straight up unfun and borderline unplayable if a nigga gets obsessed with you
