If you can fix vehicles then it can be a pretty good way to multiply your money once you get the tools you need for different things. I can do drivelines, suspension, EFI fuel systems and electronics so I can buy cars that have those problems for cheap and then fix them, without being an actual mechanic or knowing how to fix engines and transmissions.
