its much easier to start out with seedlings than growing from seeds. its a good idea to start a compost to feed the tomatoes. if u start getting bugs but are not a fan of pesticides then something i do is boil orange peels then mix the citrus water with soapy water and spray it on the plants, it helps. also dont worry about getting ur tomatoes to be big and red, its most likely theyre gonna end up looking retarded but they still taste the same. good luck on ur farmmaxxing!!

all i know is where i am (norf commiefornia) they always die in full sun. they like the cool morning sun and partial shade in the afternoon.
