The animation looks good and I'm glad they are following the manga's art style, but I'm worried they didn't do their homework properly. Just looking at this promo art, Togusa has some generic revolver instead of his iconic Mateba and Motoko doesn't have her Seburo. From the teasers it seems the story will probably be 1:1 to the manga, which is okay, but something original would've been better. SAC did it and very well.
I haven't cared about any new anime for the past 12 years and this is the only thing that peaked my interest since.
