i think its mostly slop to be honest , how ever it looks well on games like (((troon punk 2077))) , but on most games it looks trash , i think it could work out well on sci fi /horror games

>muh fake frames and ai realism slop and sheeeeit

>I think it could work well for sci-fi/horror games
Makes everything oversaturated and in 2nd picrel it is completely missing how the character is supposed to look.
I don't care about the frames being fake because TAA is dogshit and upscalers are actually superior in image quality today, especially the native AA ones

I've seen people crank it to obscene levels making game characters all look like dysgenic jeets

this stuff is the future of games whether we like it or not, over time it will only get more and more refined and will eventually be better than anything a human can make. this will make redditors and leftists cry but thats business.

Ultra gay. Bad enough to warrant firebombings of Nvidia buildings.

ai slop that changes nothing, what a waste of time it is

It's more AI slop and looks like shit
My computer is too old to run it but I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything
At least the shareholders of these AI companies are happy

I have a 3080. I disable raytracing whenever I can.
I will probably end up spending $1,500 on my next GPU because the Jews ruined pricing. I will disable DLSS5/whatever AMD and Intel do to copy it whenever possible.

The difference is that raytracing mainly ruins your framerate, but will eventually perform well enough. DLSS5 is that AND Jeetoid tier art rape, and always will be due to being the lowest effort solution. The fags who say AI art will get better don't understand the fast food analogue that AI art is in actuality. Fast food didn't improve over time. In fact it's WORSE now than it was 20 years ago. That's because it's meant to save costs while extracting as much money as possible from retarded subhumans who will embrace mediocrity with glee. Just like AI art.

i think ray tracing is worth it if you can get over 80 frames

90 in slower games and 120 in faster/more precise games like shooters, racing, and flying games. My hate for raytracing is largely based on how hard it's being pushed on us when we know the software isn't optimized and it's still crazy expensive to get acceptable framerates at 1440p. But it will eventually allow more developers to pull off very good lighting that only the top 5% of artists can pull off at the moment. And it will eventually be affordable when someone wakes up and realizes people can't actually afford/justify $1,000+ GPUs. Lighting is pretty basic and we generally want something somewhat realistic even in stylized games because it helps us orient ourselves within the game world. Shadows and light kind of act in expected ways. It's not really too open to style, it's more of a common sense thing. Heck, the original Toy Story movie has fairly realistic lighting when you factor in the technology restraints of the 90s, but the rest of the movie is clearly stylized. Look at basically every 3D movie. Lighting works a specific way because of physics.

But like I said before, DLSS5 and other AI nonsense is just a way to push a visual style easy and fast. It's not going to get too much better because the audience that will accept it is already praising it. The minimum bar has been hit, just like fast food 15-20 years ago. Now it's mainly about optimizing workflows so products can be pushed out with smaller teams and in a shorter amount of time to maximize profit. When the seals clap, your job is mostly done. Why waste money on doing better when the audience is already cheering? That would only cost you more time and money. It's exactly why animated Disney movies have looked more or less the same after The Princess and the Frog. It's good enough for the seals and saves you money. The truth is that most people aren't only fine with slop. They love it.

I had some friends record Toy Story with it on it was pretty funny. Someone record more movies with it.

People who say this are very tech illiterate.
