One of the best games ever made I think

Its a great game. One of my first games, been playing it since I was 6 years old. A lot of the most recent things have been getting worse and worse doe, like all the heckin trans affirming additions.

They could have stopped updates at whichever one added the most recent boss, it was either the Empress of Light or Queen Slime. The game was in a very good state then and they've not added much of interest since.

If youve gotten bored of the vanilla game the mods are pretty solid as well, idk what happened to calamity recently but i never liked its bossfights being bullet hells. Theres other interesting ones to play

A neighborhood friend introduced it to me 13 years ago and I liked it for about two days. I was more into Xbox 360 and Club Penguin at the time so I just dropped it. Every time somebody tries to get me into Terraria since then, it's always felt like a shitty 2D version of Minecraft. I know Terraria has plenty of differences and that's an unfair comparison, but it's like those top down early GTA games to me. The gameplay style just does not work with that perspective. It feels forced.

Its a great game despite all the faggotry. Doesn't help that like 80% of all the new updates are full of snca reddit bait i.e. every single secret seed ever.

Terraria is a good game but I stopped playing it because I got bored after beating it on master. (Yes I know about the secret seeds and shit, idc) Also I eventually just moved on to other games. Idk why I stopped playing it, I think maybe because it was 2d and that was boring to my zogrotted brain

"No traps" is a fun seed without any of the wire-viewing tools.

Fuck you, summoner is fun, especially since they brought back whip stacking

Id say the secret seeds are actually some of their better additions from recent updates. I play on the drunk seed as default so i can have both crimson and corruption drops without having to spend 20 hours making a farm.

The reddit features are basically every crossover from the last 4 years, the portraits and the shimmer variants of NPCs.

Even the most substantial crossovers which added some actual content, like the dont starve one, was complete SNCA. Deerclops is a shit boss to fight and the items are all boring as well. Id much rather theyd just take the 3ds exclusive bosses and items and rework them into the modern game than mess with the games theming by adding random shit to it. Turkor and the rabbit boss are both interesting enough to warrant being added, after some proper balancing n shieeet. Also the worms crossover was one of the few good ones, the pet is fine and the holy hand grenade is fun.
