Weird route ending might also be a "true" or "good" ending in some kind of way. There was also the aspect of slowly revitalizing Chara's presence through Frisk and the implications that brought to Chara's character. Chara doesn't have much dialogue in geno, but what is there is interesting. It's more understated than Noelle "I-I-I- w-w-ant t-his, K-Kris… I w-w-want it to s-s-now…" mindbreak bs. That's my explanation for why I don't like the route much. It has a couple decent scenes but it's just not the same.

This has probably been repeated many times, but I think Chapter 5 being "sO sILLy!!" shit right after 4 tried to have escalated the story to be somewhat more serious like Chapter 1 and a more orthodox JRPG was an awful idea. Chapter 3 already served it's purporse as "The last funny tale" even if it wasn't well received. If you played or replayed Chapters 1 and 2 before it's release and after playing Chapter 4 you can realise Chapter 3 is some sort of bridge between silly and slightly more serious stuff. I didn't even play Chapter 5 because as soon as I saw the flowers being turned into humanoid "quirky" characters I knew it was going to be Troonblr NIGGERHELL at it's max (the previous chapters managed to somewhat conceal the tumblr-ish nature of Toby as slightly original). Turns out I wasn't wrong from what I heard, I still haven't played because I am too busy and the 100% guide wasn't complete. Heard there's few interesting story bits but not much. What's worse is that Chapter 4 still had some stakes, the whole evil group Asgore and Kris thing, people starting to suspect about dark worlds at festival, seeing how isolated the town really was at festival, seeing Susie and Ralsei act differently from Chapter 4's events, schizobabble like the Woody thing and a generally more slightly serious tone as the game settled into it's final half. Instead (((Toby))) decided to cater to troonblr shit despite chapters 3 and remotely 2 doing it already and setting stuff in 4.

Yet even then, Umyum still had a smile on her face, which made me feel even worse for her, especially since there were reports of her violently sobbing after shows, calling herself "disgusting" and that she would want to "go away with her parents to her mother's house in Japan and never show her face to the world again y'hear [*something she liked saying that made her sound "western.]". I never found her ugly at all. In fact, she looked adorable, especially for someone who was "morbidly" overweight at the time. All of that harassment just to get murdered and cooked alive. at this point, the only way to conclude the narrative in deltarune would have to be a lore dump in the last two chapters. toby has been procrastinating the plot for too long, and chapter 5 even had to add more lore after because of how little story it had. the only major event in chapter 5 that's crucial to the overall plot is asgore getting kidnapped and nothing else. some "mysteries" have been going on for too long, like mike was introduced as an idea in chapter 2 and was heavily mentioned in 3, yet toby somehow found a way in chapter 4 to go "nope, the mike in chapter 3 wasn't actually mike!"
yet somehow toby has bred up a fandom that's as loyal as a dog and ignorant as a sloth. they truly believe this is a good game with a good story. i have never seen such goycattle in my life, endlessly sucking up goyslop from their kike lords.
