I love the morals of this game
>Bianca wants to go out and do stupid shit despite being weak and stupid, and her father's disapproval.
The moral of the story is: if your parents don't approve of something, disobey them and do it anyway as the only thing that matters is your own satisfaction.
>Cheren wants to be the strongest but quits because he doesn't know what he would do once he becomes the champion.
The moral of the story is: Sometimes you just have to accept that you are a loser and be comfortable being in second place even tho strength on it's own is good enough of a reason. Btw just being the strongest for no reason is exactly the same you do as the player.
>N wants to segregate pokemon and humans because he says humans exploit them despite humans creating everything that allows pokemon to live peacefully and prosper alongside them.
The moral of the story is: Even in this fantasy fiction world for little kids, marxism doesn't work. Both humans and pokemon benefit from their relation and the world would be a worse place if you were to separate them both.
I hate this plot and all the retarded essayslop niggers who say it's great. The very first game had an excellet premise: there is this little asshole who hates your guts and wants to own you by being the strongest, kick his ass.

Bianca's parents were overprotective; well, her dad anyways. Her motivations are somewhat justified and she basically gives up throughout the adventure, so both sides were kind of right.

Although, I agree with Cheren's and N's takes. Cheren's arc is just somewhat dumb in general since raw strength / power is actually pretty valuable and often rewarded in the Pokemane's world, gym leaders and the league just naturally prove it. Hell, he even becomes one 2 years later. The only thing the guy needed was a reality check to motivate himself even further, but oh well, Masuda's magnum opus or something.
The team Plasma stuff is a massive idiot plot imo. The pokemon world is already an idealized utopia in which men, flora and fauna have harmoniously lived off each other for a century at that point (if we're taking into account the Legends games taking place somewhere around the middle of the XIX century) so it's legitimately baffling how Team Plasma didn't crumble during their first team meeting. The game tries to do the whole "western religion le scary" thing japs love to do in order to make some sense out of it, but it just comes off as tacky and retarded since eco-terrorism wasn't really a thing until the later half of the XXth century. Honestly, basing a game around eco-PETA shit is just stupid and it's always the same predictable "we are the real demons" crap.

biancas story is more about her overcoming her weaknesses and becoming more competent of a person (which i think is actually a pretty good message)
im glad redditors are finally liking this game instead of most other games i like because now my copies of black and white are now over 100 dollars

Her father was right tho. She was too weak to do anything. This is proven correct when her munna gets stolen and she just cries about it, leaving you to do all the heavy lifting.
Also in the scene when she reconciles with her father she has zero accountability and its only her father who is put in the wrong, as if she hadn't done a very irresponsible act by fleeing from her home.

Honestly you just missed the point of the plot so you criticized the character writing, the rivals suck ass but N & team Plasma are pretty interesting

I wish I kept this and HeartGold because Pokemon games are retardedly expensive for some reason.

Isn't N just plain wrong? none of what he says is true or has meaning.

Nigga, if you wanna talk about the plot and Team Plasma you better not beat around the bush when it comes to how pretentiously retarded almost everyone in that organization was written out to be.
Everibaldi knows that BW1's plot is about the clash of ideals and manipulation of masses surrounding Plasma and the status quo of the region and Pokemon world. The problem lies on the fact that this is a Pokemon game, so they end up felling the need to shove in a nuke-tier kaiju (cough, cough, Opelucid city, cough) and a bunch of moronic quotable dorks as the main villains into the script. Ghetsis is just your archetypical tyrannical villain and the sages are literal whos who (you) only start to remember about when the game's plot is about to end and Interpol starts to actually do something.
Then there's N, a character who literally doesn't know any better (or anything for that matter really) but he's a-okay tho since he's soft spoken and a secret genius or something along those lines and he makes women's clitties leak, so he ends up being the perfect vessel for Ghetsis (and Masuda's) """master"""plan, truly a fascinating character; Don't even try to bring up his sisters, we both know that they're just there and barely even add stuff to Ghetsis and N's father&son relationship.

A curious nuance to Bianca's plot is that in BW2 we see a similar situation when arriving to Virbank City but with the roles reversed.
Roxie's father wants to quit being a ship captain and become an actor despite the idea being clearly stupid and him being uncapable of acting, and with his daughter telling him not to. He makes a movie nobody likes, gets a reality check, goes back to being a ship captain, and reconciles with his daugher.
Is not a 1-1 with Bianca and her father but it's pretty close, and it's a much more mature take on senseless dreams you can't achieve than Bianca being a parasite who depends on others to fulfill her travel fantasy.
