Unrelated to the question, but it's so retarded that Todd Howard took the DUMBEST idea from Fallout 2 that they wrote as a couple of throwaway lines for the president just for lolz (where he tells you about the vault experiments) and then based the entire identity of the franchise around that stupid shit. 'We released meth into the ventilation system of the vault. Result: everybody got high and chaos erupted' WOW, GENIUS! This data will SURELY help the enclave re-establish humanity.

If you offered one of the lead devs of Fallout 2 to travel back in time and prevent the vault experiment shit from making it into the final release, I'm 99% sure he would accept the offer. But Todd Howard decided that it's the coolest shit ever. I think Todd might be an idiot savant. All of his ideas are extremely retarded, and it's clear that he is a fucking moron, but his shitty ass games still sell bajillion copies because his talent is knowing how to sell shit to shit-eating normies. I had a friend like that in school, he genuinely had an IQ of like 85 but always had some profitable side hustle that allowed him to upgrade his gaming PC on his own.

I love the first Fallout but don't care about New Vegas. Also the new Obsidian crew is nothing like the old.

Fallout 1 and 2 are terrible games tho so you shouldn't play them.
