I played all until the ds, i used to play them in class at school, guess i stopped mostly bc i finishes school years ago so there was no reason not to play better games. They have great presentation and a really good gameplay core, but they do get tiresome after a few hours, i have never engaged with the post-game content bc of this with one exception.
Grinding is what has me not coming back not only to pokemon but jrpgs in general. I have 20 minutes of youth left, i wont waste them in the high grass bc the game doesnt give you enough battles to level up quickly.
White 2 is my favorite btw, the only one entertaining and interesting enough to get me hooked after beating the main game. Yellow was the only one in which i completed the pokedex, did it with a friend at school in 2017, a good memory from when i was a retarded caca a thought jrpgs were the best.
