i doubt many people here are old enough/remember exactly what she did, but basically back in 2014 or so she ran a jurno thing where she whined about how games "le enforced male stereotypes" without playing any games or caring about them at all (from her own admission from previous statements). she didnt "start" gamergate, that would technically be zoe quinn, but she was heavily related to it since it was a big upset about how shit games jurnos are (nothings changed and they still suck at their jobs 12 years later)

Honestly I watched a couple episodes of her series and it was tame. Leftists have gotten a lot more extreme since then so I don't see what all the outrage was about with Anita.

The outrage back then was largely about porn addicts getting mad about getting less porn in video games. The Feminist movement of the time DID help destroy video games, but 75% of the arguments against them were genuinely just about fapbait being removed from games and not really the other stuff like unbeleivably bad writing and making game art ugly, and even less so about games becoming gameplay and technical disasters due to nepotistic/biased hiring because that didn't start happening in large amounts until many years later due to so much technical debt piling up. The retards went as far as DEFENDING HALO 4 simply because they found Cortana in it hot.

So yeah, the Feminists and leftoids of the time ended up winning back then because they really did appear more reasonable on the outside compared to the cumbrain subhumans you find on 4chan today.

Yep. There's a reasonable inbetween where the female characters aren't pornbait but are still appealing to look at a baseline level. Now these game devs come across as completely schizophrenic prudes with the extents they go to remove all sexuality from their female characters. It's to the point where some of them look like trannies. I don't give a shit about AAA gaming one way or the other but their utter contempt and fear of male sexuality is bewildering.
