Honestly, just start with a really small country like Luxembourg. Only reseaech stuff in the infantry, electronics, and industry tabs. Only build military factoties. You can do other stuff once you get a grip on the basics.

>>63429Is one of those shit games where you need the wiki all the time to understand what's happening? Pc games are plagued by those.

>>63429Nigga what? Basically every guide I’ve seen recommended to start as a major or large minor (like brapzil). The best country to start is Italy because you can rely on Germany and you have a large enough industry to play around with all the major features
>>63438Not really, compared to most other pdx and strategy games I wouldn’t consider hoi4 to be wikislop. There isn’t really too much to memorise

>>63438Idk, i just understood it withouth a wiki, play imperial germany first, the civil war is easy and you can learn the basics of combat there (you are going to lose a lot in your first games, so dont give up)

Best way to learn any paraslop game is to start as any major and learn on the go.

stellaris was so easy to understand. Hoi4 combat is so much more confusing.

Start as a major country like germany or U.S.S.R and watch videos of kikes who are playing the game itself then you can get the hang of it

Skip the tutorial and click on things. Paradox seriously needs to stop making tutorials it kills the fun.

>>63371 (OP)There is one guy in Youtube who makes decent tutorials on shit without filling the video with unfunny cringe memeslop but I forgot his name.
Honestly don't bother though. The base game is extremely, painfully mediocre. Most mods are trannycord memeslop at this point. Multiplayer is only worth it if you can friendslop it.
>t. Quit after wasting thousands of hours on it in my teens.
