also, i didnt play the weird route, but it seems to be getting VERY, VERY INTERESTING

i will say doe, it definitely feels like the game is getting more and more troony every chapter, starting with chapter 3. This definitely has to do with the team getting bigger, and since most of Toby's fans are troons i imagine he hired a few. There are way too many SNCA references and jokes in the new chapter that kind of just pissed me off more than everything, and i think the game is reaching a point where its starting too feel "too detailed" which just makes it have less charm than older chapters. Also the weird route being locked until chapter 7 is mega cucka but its okay

Im halfway through and its so fucking bad. Im getting fatigued with how much the game has turned into a gay dating sim when I just wanna explore new worlds for petes sake.

First you gotta 3rd wheel a gay romance date between noel and susie, then flowery is weirdly gay leaning on asgore and specifically keeps trying to replace toriel in his heart.

We got the yellow sheriff and the blue flower man princess being gay lovers

Then we got the ralsei bath scene. (I kind of liked it cuz im a 1/4 jartistani)

AND IM ONLY HALFWAY THROUGH. The block puzzles might be the best puzzles that toby has ever made thoe

I've just beaten chapter 5 and I can say the secret boss is the most corny shit I've seen on this game so far, plus it's poorly playtested. Sometimes I wish I could lobotomize Toby so he forgets how to speak Japanese in order to stop him to add stupid shit like this to his games.

That's literally anywhere Toby actually leaves crumbs for something interesting that he instead of building on that and doing something really cool he either a. uses it for a cheap gag, b. forgets about it entirely or c. executes what could've been a really cool idea in the worst way possible

Take Noelle for example, in chapter 1 we learn that her father is sick with something and how she and her mother are distant, then in chapter 2 for all its faults did show far more interesting crumbs for what she could become besides her crush on Susie nobody cares about like how queen constantly says she's strong, which we actually see in the weird route, plus all the christ imagery from the rock she was tied to the thorn ring, being mentioned as an angel, having antlers which would sort of tie into Asriel who also had an angel motif in undertale as well as the angel's heaven the three heroes had to stop and to top it all off the chapter 2 arg of when she first saw Susie for the first time it seemed to be setting up some sort of conflict between Kris and Noelle, perhaps even to the point that in one route, she, not the knight is the final boss. Fast forward to now and the weird route is prolly botched to all hell and the yurislop being cut from chapters 4 and 5 would improve them by magnitudes

100% the worst chapter to come out so far
