these games, unironically. Undertale cleverly subverts traditional and stale rpg tropes while being soulful and not obnoxious like most modern indie games like heartbound or AAA titles like borderlands. The characters are lovable and are not only "OH MY GOD QUIRKY REDDIT CHUNGUS WHOLESUM 100" which is commonly and wrongly attributed to them by obsessed chuds who let never actually play the shit they despise. Just like troons.
Toby fox is, for certain, a witty writer and a good composer. These talents are further developed in deltarune, where the tropes which were subverted by undertale are subverted again, poking a clever fun at the fanbase.
