Need more info. Are you playing modded or vanilla, and what nations do you play? General advice I have is:
>try to get at least 3 lines of 15 civ factories
>keep up with your research
>dont battleplan with only infantry
>reliability doesnt matter for tanks
>for air, only build small fighters and CAS. heavy fighters for vanilla USA since they get a good research bonus for heavy airframes.
>your fighters should have as many 4x heavy machine guns as the airframe allows, as well as self sealing fuel tanks and extra fuel tanks
>your CAS should have only heavy bomb locks and extra fuel tanks

What the 'teen above said is good general advice but as a weaker nation you should do a gimmick like soft attack tanks or special forces with anti air in your templates because you're never gonna have enough normal infantry or air to match majors

Anti-air is good to have in all templates imo. And for singleplayer soft attack is king, as the AI doesn't make very many tanks.
