The 2ds has a shorter screen gap than a normal 3ds, meaning for ds and 3ds game that use the gap as part of the game such as yoshi's island ds, it's irredemably fucked up.
I had a 2ds until 2022 when i sold it to buy a ryzen cpu, if i only had known how much they would inflate out of nowhere. Still, it sucked and something like a dsi or 3ds xl is much, much better for playing ds ans 3ds games.
