It's hard to describe, but this platform is infinitely worse than it was a decade ago.

I joined in late 2015. The first game I played on there was Stop It, Slender. All of my brothers had accounts on there as well. I remember playing it with them. It was awesome.

I got my start as a game developer through ROBLOX. I remember following a tutorial to make a cube rapidly change color via code in studio. I've done a lot since then when it comes to making video games, and I have ROBLOX to thank for that.

So, to me, it's really disheartening and gut-wrenching to see the state ROBLOX is in right now.

I stopped playing for good once they nuked text chat, and since then, I've only heard awful things. Predators roam free unabated. Lawsuit after lawsuit. Needless removal, replacements, and rebranding of core features.

It doesn't even resemble ROBLOX anymore. The name is a farse at this point. They're pushing Rthro, dynamic heads, and they're even going as far as to remove R6 for the sake of R15.

All of the top games are garbage, riddled with microtransactions, filled with degenerates and lobotomites, if not outright children.

The old community goodwill surrounding this game is gone. I remember the toxic back and forth I would have with other players in text chat. It was childish, but special. I've made so many good memories on ROBLOX. But that just doesn't happen anymore.
