i think the game is really nice for making alien races, and theres a sea full of content from other people, but the gameplay is really repetitive and the sea of content is as shallow as a puddle. i dont think ive ever met a person who plays spore for the game stages rather than making creatures, buildings, vehicles, and adventures. the drm is also really horrible (unless you bought it off of GOG)

(you glass a planet with one colony using minilaser, repeat 2 or 3 times, buy bombs, rape home planets with bombs, upgrade everything, win, bonus if you are a scientist or a zealot)
