Marge, what is opsec day?
Guy Fawkes Day, or Bonfire Night is the remembrance of the Gunpowder plot, in which the based tradcath domestic terrorist Guy Fawkes, along with 12 others planned to demolish the Protestant king in the year 1605. They displayed TERRIBLE Opsec by warning other Catholics to not come to parliament on the day of the explosion, which led to the plan being brutally raided by the glowniggers, and Guy Fawkes was found right next to the piles of gunpowder.
Eventually the feds ACKed him, as if he was a troon.
What does this literal who have to do with Opsec?
Due to his beautiful moustache and beard and legendary plan to 'nish the glowies once and for all, the Guy Fawkes Mask was invented in the 80s for the British story V for Vendetta, and popularised due to the movie version, and for being used by the real elite hacking group Anonymous, who are now known in the present day as Soyjak.st
You are free to pay your tribute to OPSEC in this thread or to wonder what you would have done differently if you was Guy Fawkes the Opsec guy
