You will never be a real Linux user. You have no PC, you have no keyboard, you have no control. You are an iPad kid twisted by sideloading and a terminal emulator into a crude mockery of Torvalds' perfection.
All the "upvotes" you get are two-faced and half-hearted. Behind your back people mock you. Your "friends" laugh at your touchscreen behind closed doors.
Nerds are utterly repulsed by you. Decades of UNIX development have allowed nerds to sniff out frauds with incredible efficiency. Even Termux users who "root their phone" look uncanny and unnatural to a nerd. Your typing is a dead giveaway. And even if you manage to get a rookie to interact with you, they'll turn tail and bolt the second they get a whiff of your locked down, Cheeto dust-covered phone.
You will never do anything useful. You wrench out a fake screenshot every single morning and tell yourself it's going to be ok, but deep inside you feel the depression creeping up like a weed, ready to crush you under the unbearable weight.
Your obsession is merely a phase. Eventually, you will grow weary of the half-useful desktop environments and rices. You will uninstall Termux, grab your wallet, get a proper PC, and install Linux on it. Other nerds will find you, relieved that this is over, and you will no longer waste your time with a mere imitation of true power. They'll welcome you back into their community, and every passerby will know that out of pure midness something greater can become. Your phone will go back in your pocket, and all that will remain from it is a locked down device that unmistakably runs Android.
This is what you are. This is what you chose. But you can turn back.
