For general use it has to be IPS.
In terms of what technology i like the most THOUGH, 100% CRTs. Its a fucking electron cannon shooting a laser beam at a screen to make it glow. Thats cool as fuck.

If I had to choose one? VA miniLED because I don't want to babysit an overpriced OLED. If I get a new top tier monitor and TV for free every other year, yeah, I'd pick OLED. The very best ones can finally do HDR well. But real life isn't like that and things break and aren't free.
Learn how to lower your stress in life. Every bit counts. You don't need the newest or best, and you don't need to be first. That intense feeling you get when you see a cool new thing you would like? Wait a few weeks and the feeling will almost always wear off. My monitor is over 5 years old and my TV is over 3 years old. My monitor could especially be replaced by a better one because it's IPS and newer ones handle motion better. They weren't the best when I got them and much better ones exist now. But then I would have to put in time and money that in all honesty wouldn't be worth the benefits because mine still work like new.

>>42242oled isn't the best for my usecace because my desk isn't deep enough to use something bigger than 24", and I can't seem to find oleds that size. Since I have the same UIs over and over, I'm afraid of burn in on an expensive screen.
