AI "vibe coding" mogs manual coding in October 2026, especially since the release of Claude Opus 5.5. It speeds things up immensely, and tends to produce mostly readable code if you take it 1 script at a time. It can also generate creative assets very well. If you disagree, explain why.

Ethics for coding or whatever it is and Claude can generate assets like images and audio, but it's so obvious it's ai-generated that nobaldi's falling for dat and that alone will kill your project. The only guys who can get away with it are the kernel developers and other large projects because they are "too big too fall" basically.

Who gaf about coding ethics lol? Also yeah the assets themselves are not the selling point, hence why I tacked that on at the end. The code itself is definitely usable though, and you'll be left in the dust within ~2 years if you don't adapt.

invest enough tokens and anything becomes too big to fail, a good piece of software is good no matter who made it, if you had the know how you could start replacing legacy enterprise systems because they're literal shit

My only concern with AI code and arduous labor is that it will become so good that nobody will need to learn those things anymore. Sounds great until you remember it's only a matter of time before something goes wrong. And I'm not talking about Terminator stuff, just a collapse of the world that we live in that's so heavily dependent on computers. And not in a "all the nukes will explode because of a glitch" kind of way. But things like agriculture, logistics, banking, and similar bones of the modern world. Nobody cares if EA makes a game engine around AI and then it breaks, it's real life stuff that could fall apart and everyone will be too stupid to fix the code manually. Outsourcing skills and intelligence is not the answer.

Remember when Microshit went full AI? Their newer patches kept being filled with bugs and other bullshit that made the OS even more pajeetware than it was when they let indians handle it
Linux is already a huge stinking pile of shit prior to ai and ai could absolutely make that problem worse.
