I like to hate on Rust, but your post reminded me that I also like to hate on Java because it's an overrated piece of shit that is slow as fuck, just look at Minecraft Java vs Bedrock edition for an obvious example (barring the bugs because Minecraft Bedrock is handled by Microshaft's suits instead of the core Mojang development team).
