The curve is always steep with Linux desktop, if you're a brainnigger or any shade brown don't touch le aryan OS, just use microslop and get cucked or databreached in the ass.
Your next step in the future would be to use a systemd-less distro but leave that for the future when SHTF.

I use debian on my desktop and mx linux on my laptop because network drivers in debian's netinst were being finicky.
