Probably thread number 20000 about this but I want to switch to Linoox. I'm a total beginner, I don't game goygames, the programs I use on Windows work across the board and I've always solved my own problems on Windows or my machine via tutorials, so I'm resilient and a faggot to learn and will definitely try

Now, which distro 'teens?

Use CachyOS, it's the most popular Distro right now (Even more popular than Ubuntu & SteamOS)

yeah +1 for cachy. Also you can't go wrong with the classic nuGOD distro mint, especially for someone coming from windows, it feels a lot like windows in some ways. IMO it's better to get comfortable with the linux way of doing things instead of trying to recreate how thins felt on windows doe. After I did that, then tried windows again I just ended up hating windows because it felt like shit compared to my linux boxes.

distro choice is largely irrelevant if youre picking between the popular user-friendly ones. i'd personally recommend something like linux mint.

others on this thread have recommended cachy, and its a perfectly fine distro, but the optimizations it has wont matter too much if youre not gaming, so i'd recommend going with something more regular & stable.
