I dont think its possible since the progress is AI is S-curved, not exponential, and there is a fundemental difference between a system thats better than humans in some aspects vs. better in all

A brain being possible in the physical world doesnt mean that all the components of a brain can be simulated by a computer accurately. What id deism is true and the ego/soul cant be emulated? It brings up the question of what intelligence even is really. A device thats better than every human living or dead at pattern recognition but that had no moral compass would make obviously flawed decisions (or would it? Is morality deductible through reason?) All in all its more complex than yes or no. Personally I say no

What if Allah is true? That's the kind of questions not worth entertaining, because they only exist as self-soothing fabrications of the developmentally stunted. Nobody askes "gwok, eez deism droo??? Are gnomes real???" with any other problem, like designing maglev trains o algo. Only when it comes to touchy subjects related to peoples' egos and sense of safety.

Morality is pretty demonstrably orthogonal to over average intelligence. Most big names of 20th century philosophy were mostly motivated in legalizing their various perversions off the back of whatever movement they contributed to.
