Why does VLC media player shit itself whenever trying to play this video? I mainly use mpc qt (which plays the file without issue) so its not an issue for me, but im very intrested why does it freeze up whenever playing this mp4 in particular?

Probably has some encoding error that trips VLC up but which MPC handles gracefully.
