Whale tech is very primitive as of yet. There are only 50 or so blue whales left to experiment on. Assuming in 50 years we exterminate India and fix pollution, we would have advanced somewhat in whale technology. Here is my predictions with available data.
1026: Simple whaling
1800s: Whale oil
1900s: Margarine
2000s: Whale trackers
