Dumb question, but what should I do with my GrapheneOS phone to maximize privacy? Should I just use it as a normal phono but with open source shit or should I try something different?
I did try using separate users for glowie and non-glowie software but I don't know what else I can do to maximize privacy
>inb4 use PC/Bluestacks
I already have the hardware, and I really don't want to install chinese spyware just to use the ZOG 2FA app for banking n shieeet

To maximize privacy do not use a cellular telephone altogether. This will also improve your health because cellular telephone radiation negatively affects your brain and testicles. However, if you necessarily need to use not just a cellular telephone but a so-called "smartphone" it is best to do as you said and install free software programs (so-called "mobile apps" but i dislike the term strongly) on your device. Keep in mind that the mere act of using a cellular telephone nukes your privacy (and your health) so the gain is small, albeit i suppose worthwile to an extent (better to be a slightly less obiedient goy). You could I suppose keep it at home at all times so your privacy is not compromised but the wireless radiation will still affect your health.
Here are some programs you can install on your telephone which are alternatives to common proprietary telephone programs:
app store: f-droid
email program: fairemail
navigation program: organic maps, osmand
browser: ironfox (do not listen to gos devs who think that you should use their vanadium browser. yes, mobils firefox deriviatives have worse exploit protection but using the right extensions is an insane improvement in privacy for an average browser user)
rss reader: any from f droid really, i use readify
file sharing: syncthing, onionshare
password manager: keepassxc
messaging: simplex chat, conversations
authenticator: aegis
rethink or netguard for per-program connection monitoring and blocking

regardless of what you do on grapheneOS it pisses off glowies because it stops the backdoors from spying on you by using the iommu

put it in a LEO-grade faraday bag

I would really like to get rid of it, but getting rid of needing a phone is really fucking hard. For starters, there's the Digital ID / ZOG 2FA app I have to use to do fucking anything meaningful. I could replace it with a little plastic thing that shows codes that's used by the elderly, but even then that is still not enough to fully remove phones from my life (I fucking hate my family for using Messenger).
Also, doesn't the radiation thing count for all wireless networks? Even if I get rid of my phone it'll still be there when I walk outside.

Well that one makes sense but it's hard to justify socially. Good luck having a social life when everyone is on their phones. It is still worth trying I guess, just to live true by yourself.
>The app recommendations
Thanks man. I'll try them out.

Trve, but it's still a phone, so it's not that good privacy-wise.

TSMT. I completely forgot about those. Will do as soon as I can.

Of course but the emf levels are several orders of magnitude lower when you are not holding a device which constantly emits signals near your body because of inverse square law. Look into SAR (Specific absorption rate) of em radiation in given scenarios (telephone next to head during active call, telephone somewhere next to the body e.g. a pocket, no telephone inside your home, no telephone outside in a city, no telephone outside away from cell towers etc). Note that any government regulations on this are ridiculously lax, 2W/kg in EU i think slightly less in america is allowed. That is the max level that cellular telephones reach (transmission peaks when calling with telephone next to your head). There are many studies linking this to cancer, even the WHO IARC admits its "possibly carcinogenic" (http://www.iarc.fr/en/media-centre/pr/2011/pdfs/pr208_E.pdf). To illustrate just how harmful this is to your brain, you can use em signals with power weaker by 3 orders of magnitude (~0.4mW) to make someone hear sounds that aren't there (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microwave_auditory_effect). There is simply no way cellular telephone usage doesnt completely rape your brain. Same with fertility, especially male fertility, decreasing male sperm count and motility (https://sci-hub.pl/10.2164/jandrol.111.014373)

>When thing closer, it hurt more
Yeah, I should've thought about that being a possibility. But excuse the retardation, what about, say, sitting next to someone with a phone in the bus? I get the risk and how they happen, but it is impossible to truly avoid the fucking things in real life. There is still the risk of cancer by close proximity. I appreciate the research and sources doebeit. Looking into it, I found that apparently phone manufacturers conduct very specific tests with molds of a human body to check for radiation. (https://electronics.howstuffworks.com/cell-phone-radiation.htm#pt3). Quite interesting, though I don't imagine how effective the tests really are.

Inverse square law. A phone thats, say, 10cm away from you roughly means ~100x lower power density than a phone that is 1cm from you. At legally allowed levels even that much is likely still harmful over an extended period, so do not think about carrying it around at all times in a bag away from your body but you won't get cancer from an exposure during a 20-minute bus ride.
