I'm using arch which is good but heavily associated with larpers and trannies. Should I install gentoo, and is it good for learning how your computer is working? I'm just really interested in linux.

Maybe install gentoo in vm, configure some basic services and then decide if you would prefer that over arch.

I don't think gentoo is much better than arch when it comes to learning.
Also what do you want to learn? Programming for linux? Sysadmin stuff?
