CachyOS was a pleasant surprise for me. I think there's no point in using "easy" operating systems like Mint anymore, if you're even mildly diligent about setting things up. They're almost all user-friendly, now.

Therefore, opposite of that = Arch. But you're too dumb for Arch and ain't nobody got time foh dat, nigguh, so here's Arch with training wheels = CachyOS. Shrimple.

See here:
https://www.gnu.org/distros/free-distros.htmlPreferably use Parabola GNU+Linux-libre because it offers an option to use openrc instead of systemd. Alternatively use Gentoo GNU+Linux-libre set-up as described here:

Introduces vulnerabilities (including extremely severe remote code execution and privilege escalation) due to insane scope creep. It's not an init system anymore, it now does authentication, network configuration, dns, logging, manages user directories and devices, has a bootloader and so much more. Of course I'm conflating all of systemd with the systemd init system here but that's intentional since they are interdependent and thus lead to the removal of user's freedom of choice in terms of an init system with the majority of common distros. Also, cucked to the recent "age attestation" laws.

They do a bunch of retarded shit but they're the most notable organization with a hardline stance against all non-free software, which is good. Unlike the mainline linux kernel used by most distributions, the linux-libre kernel maintained and recommended by the FSF doesnt use proprietary firmware. The distributions listed in the article are the only ones which can truly be considered free software.

If you really, but REALLY hate the antichrist, you MUST use TempleOS, any other opinion is gay and retarded.

right now, Mint has major issues with its installer app. Everything is fucking outdated and the comment sections under everything warn to not use it and actually dl the up-to-date version in other ways. How is that friendly, huh??? There isn't a single thing Cachy is more obtuse about, other than maybe starting with less default slop, if that's even the case anymore
