Buy a resistor or something to get that noise out, i have one of these for my low impedance earbuds but im sure it works like that in reverse too.

I forgot to mention it's usb, so electric interference can't be a thing. I also tried it on 2 laptops (windows & linux) with nothing plugged it to rule out interference, and it still was there.

I don't have another usb b cable. Also, the stand uses the cable to prop up the mic, that might be the problem, in which case it will keep breaking, so I'm returning it.

Its internal then probably if u tried on two pc's, from the noise of it its a bad/loose connection or maybe even a bad capacitor. Unless ur good with soldering i'd check the warranty
My guess is that some retard dropped it during shipping and a wire got a little loose like that
