This era had a really funky aura because the enthusiast space had just enough time and mass for companies to bother selling gamery decorative things, but not enough for it to be mass produced cookie cutter slop. A lot of it was just repurposed. I had one with a plexiglass side panel but the inside of the case was still industrial gray. But it was lit by a neon tube powered by molex. Power supply cables were still colored but covered in wire wrap. Nonmodular ofc. You just sort of stuffed everything you didn't need in an empty 5.25 bay. Good times. This era has no sovl… I just build in used 4U racks
