why were those high school IT classes so useless

 â„–36920[Quote]

they are made for tech illiterate jeets and niggers who only own a phone

 â„–36921[Quote]

>>36920
even the niggers in my class knew tech better then the teacher did

 â„–36928[Quote]

never had to do shit in mine

teacher knew i was good at computer so i just played games during the class

and one time she caught me and a few other people cheating, i think the other people stopped cheating, but i just came up with a better way to cheat without it getting detected (Like manually making a file then pasting the assignment in it so it looks like a different file)

the most they did is teach us was microsoft office but it was shit you would never even do in those programs like making posters in word

 â„–36956[Quote]

i remember in like 7th grade, when we were taking the IT exam (exists for some reason) the teacher walked in and just started giving out every single one of the answers
Gun to my head i couldnt remember a single thing that IT class has 'teached'' me

 â„–36957[Quote]

my teacher didn't know about linux or even basic keyboard shortcuts like ctrl + z

 â„–36960[Quote]

they are good for inspiration not for real learning

 â„–36982[Quote]

>>36960
lie, they never inspired me

 â„–36986[Quote]

>>36960
when did they inspire me

 â„–36988[Quote]

>>36900 (OP)
we had arduino classes in my old school which where pretty good for learning it,but pretty horrible to get you interested in that sort of tech especially since learning C ++ at 14 without jeetgpt is such a slowburn slog and doing projects you don't care about

 â„–36999[Quote]

you guys had IT classes?

 â„–37004[Quote]

>>36999
it was required at my school

 â„–37239[Quote]

>>36920
my teacher always compared something to phone software geg

 â„–37241[Quote]

Those classes were dogshit, instead of explaining basic IT the teachers (not one, ALL OF THEM) teached how to use Word and Excel to be a good wagecuck like them

 â„–37243[Quote]

>>37241
same here or we had to do some shit that we would never do in those programs like making posters

 â„–37251[Quote]

What would a good IT class look like anyway..?

 â„–37254[Quote]

>>37251
teaching actual IT stuff like linux and not word or powerpoint

 â„–37255[Quote]

tsmt except in my high school IT classes were completely optional. They taught Python but at an extremely basic level. We never learnt about classes or even scoping. We only learnt assigning variables, using basic operators, control structures, and making functions.

My teacher taught us java and I had to learn loops, functions and program a console game with hp and a random number of doors with a random event in it.
