kyocera a202kc is good if you can thinker with adb (nothing more than "adb install jardy.apk"), runs android but can't do much more than call and text, doe you can install apps like whatsapp and telegram

doesn't use jewgle services so it's less spyware

be warned that it doesn't text and recieve mms doe so you will have to use other messaging apps

writing text on it is niggerhell without TT9 but for some reason i can't send messages on the native text app if it's activated so only use if you only text via non-sms apps (other sms apps work and can recieve mms but don't have notifications and only (((google messages))) can recieve messages while not in the app and even then phone needs to be on and it's complicated)

otherwise get an HMD but no apps

i got a nokia 2780 (used) for about 40 usd
you can put your own micro sd
just know it uses google as a search engine
it has youtube too, but the screen is like 3 inches so it really is only for stuff like listening to music if you dont save any onto it

just use your grandpa's old nokia
