brave is you want something that JUST WORKS. it supports sync and its mobile version is good too

brave is just chromium with ublock origin (you can verify this by closing it with the windows task manager while doing something that slows the browser down)

i recommend:
firefox-esr - slightly more viable alternative to chrome
supermium - chrome but less bad, i like being able to compact the ui and its excellent compatibility w/ older windows versions
palemoon - minimal resource usage, very customizable.

cromite (android) - feature packed chromium browser
